Overview
Virgin Games (later Virgin Interactive Entertainment) was a video game publishing company that was part of Richard Branson’s Virgin Group. Founded in 1983, the company published numerous titles across multiple platforms before being acquired by Titus Interactive in 2003.
Sierra Connection
Virgin Games published several titles developed by studios and designers with Sierra connections:
Synergistic Software Games: Virgin published the Excalibur series (Spirit of Excalibur and Vengeance of Excalibur), developed by Synergistic Software, which also worked with Sierra.
NASCAR Racing: Virgin Interactive published the original NASCAR Racing (1994) developed by Papyrus Design Group.
